Client # 4. The Staff helped me get a modification by working diligently on my file. They even contacted representatives of the Bank and insisted on their doing a second review of my file. During the two years of working with the Staff, they never stopped making phone calls, faxing documents, and even contacting the highest office of the bank when they could not get a response from my negotiator. Whatever needed to be done to move the process along, they did it. They even gave me a listening ear when I just wanted to cry and give up on the whole thing. Client # 6. Approximately one year ago, my lender sent me a Notice of Intent to Foreclose on my home. Being desperate to save my home, I became the victim of a scam. Not only took my money, told me a bunch of lies, they disappeared out of sight, dissolving as if they had never existed in the first place.
I found out about UEDC and called and made an appointment. They immediately went to work on my case and advised me on what documents were needed from me in order to assist me with my foreclosure issue. I was a nervous wreck, sitting in their office, but they remained calm and even-kneeled, as they worked their magic. Honestly, I was feeling somewhat guilty and unnecessary because they did everything. They did all the work, while I merely observed. The entire staff is just fantastic.
The bottom line is nothing but good news. My house was not only saved from the jaws of foreclosure, but my sanity was also restored. My mortgage payment was lowered, and more importantly, I get to stay in the house that I love, call home, and have lived since 1990.
I cannot thank the staff at UEDC enough for the hard work they did for me, with never a whimper nor complaint about the hours they put in, and the enormous amount of paperwork generated to keep my house from going into foreclosure. Although it is a non-profit organization, all of UEDC’s personnel work as if they are getting paid millions of dollars. They also display a patience that is impressive, and it is obvious that they like to work hard for their clients, and enjoy doing so.
Please allow me with this letter, to go on the record as one who wholeheartedly gives thanks to UEDC. Every day I awaken in my home, I give thanks to, and pray for those wonderful people who work so diligently, and reach out to help those that are in despair and in need of a helping hand in times of crisis.
