You now have two ways to complete and file your 2017 income tax return – both at no cost to you!
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free help to taxpayers who generally earn $55,000 or less. IRS-certified volunteers provide basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing for qualified individuals.
Click here to schedule your appointment with UEDC today! The IRS filing deadline is Tuesday, April 17, 2018.
Before arriving at UEDC, check out our Services Provided & What to Bring page to ensure you have all the required documents and information our volunteers will need to help you. *Note: available services can vary due to the availability of volunteers certified with the tax law expertise required for your return.
For taxpayers who were not able to schedule an appointment with UEDC, or whose income exceeded the limit above – but not more than $66,000 annually – United Way offers a way to complete and file your return online. Click on MyFreeTaxes to get started.
